The force of the impact threw the black pickup off the tracks and into an adjoining paddy field. An automatic barrier had been installed at the railway crossing, but it was not yet operating. Rescue workers and police rush to the aid of the two men trapped in their pickup after it was struck by a freight train at a crossing in Muang district, Phitsanulok around noon on Thursday.
